How to Use Multilevel List in MS Word
Using Word to build a multilayer list is quite simple.
Start by typing one or more lines from your list, making
sure that each item is on its own line. Choose those lines next.

On the Ribbon's "Home" tab, click the
"Multilevel Lists" button and choose from the drop-down menu one of
the pre-built list kinds.
Your list will now be formatted in the style you chose.
Demoting and Promoting Lines On Your Multilevel List
Demote a List Item By Pressing Tab Key
To begin, move your cursor to the beginning of the line that
has to be demoted.
To demote
that line to a lower list level, just hit your Tab key.
By
advancing a line by one level, you can also promote it by starting your cursor
at the beginning of the line.
And then hitting Shift+Tab.
